Filmed entirely in black and white, apart from the blood and ink which is in stark red.
First scene is set on moorland. Medium close-up shot follows smartly man walking though moors, the sound of him whistling is the only sound that can be hear.
A handheld camera films long POV shot from behind a rock, shaky as if a persons view. Silence/ light breathing can be heard. Again a close-up shot shows the man walking and whistling man, walking.
A close-up shot films the titles being written. Titles are written by the protagonist, in red ink and quill on white paper between each shot.
Again handheld camera film the walking character, the handheld shot is moving towards the character. Close-up shot shows man stop walking, stop whistling as if confused and turn around. A handheld close-up shot shows his face (as if him and the protagonist are facing ne another). The character then grunt as if stabbed.
Next scene is set in a kitchen. Handheld camera film as if a protagonist's view, looking down on their hands. The hands wash a blooded scalpel in a sink, then laid to rest along side other surgical instruments. Camera looks up into window. Angled shot shows a man looking into reflection.
